As a Clear Creek Fire Authority Volunteer Firefighter, you may volunteer to be on call for as many or as few hours as fit into your schedule.
Clear Creek Fire Authority Instructions and Application Procedures
1. Fill out the Volunteer Firefighter Application. Return the application FILLED OUT COMPLETELY and with a copy of your DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) report and current certifications, ie CPR, HazMat, et cetera.
2. Applications may be dropped off at Station 1 at 3400 Stanley Rd.k, Dumont, CO., Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or mailed to P.O. Box 507, Dumont, CO., 80436.
3. The application process takes 2 to 3 weeks. Within that time period, an applicants references will be checked and a criminal background check will be conducted.
4. A drug screening test shall be completed after the application process. To schedule a drug screening test contact Clear Creek Fire Authority at 303-567-4342.
5. After the application and screening processes applicants may be contacted for an interview.
6. Applicant participation in training and incidents within Clear Creek Fire Authority is prohibited
until the application and acceptance process is complete.
