R.V. Fire Silver Plume

Clear Creek Fire Authority Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Clear Creek Fire Authority to respond in a safe and professional manner to emergencies within the boundaries of the Fire Authority.  In cooperation with other agencies we will help citizens deal with natural and man-made emergencies.  With the available resources, and keeping the safety of the CCFA members and the public paramount, the Authority will work to the best of its ability to limit loss of life, damage to the environment and loss of property.

Clear Creek Fire Authority (CCFA) is a consolidated fire protection and emergency service agency serving the municipalities of Empire, Georgetown, Idaho Springs and Silver Plume and the unincorporated lands of Clear Creek County previously represented by the Clear Creek Emergency Services District (ESD). CCFA’s territory includes I-70 (Colorado’s primary east-west transportation corridor), Clear Creek (a world class rafting river), four 14,000-foot peaks, two ski areas, several hundred abandoned mines and residential and business districts.
